Guest Post: L'Oreal Color Riche Wet Quads ft Alicia

And here is Alicia, who I have been following since the first day makeup appealed to me. Extra points go to her for being Canadian.

Hey Everyone,

I'm so excited to be filling in for Jenn while she is away on vacation. Jenn, one of my favourite fellow Canadian bloggers, has done several amazing guest posts on my blog, Funny Face Beauty, so I am more than happy to return the favour.

While I am always looking for the next best deal when it comes to hoarding buying makeup products, I have never been a big fan of drugstore eyeshadows. Often dry and under pigmented, I've come to the conclusion that I would rather spend my money on one good high-end eyeshadow palette or quad, than waste it on several mediocre drugstore palettes. Well, drugstore lovers unite, because I have finally found a drugstore shadow that can stand toe-to-toe with its higher-end rivals: L'Oreal's new 'Colour Riche Wet Quads'

With the 'intensity of a gel shadow [but] ease of a powder', L'Oreal newest eyeshadow quads combine four beautifully pigmented shadows which works in harmony to create a variety of both daytime and nighttime looks. Incredibly soft and creamy, the new L'Oreal shadows are very easy to blend and, while shimmery, don't have any large chunks of glitter, therefore creating little to no fallout.

While I personally have chosen to use (and swatch) these eyeshadows dry, they can be used wet (just spray your brush with a little water) for maximum pigmentation, and an almost metallic effect.

Below is a closer look at two of the eight new L'Oreal 'Colour Riche Wet Quads':
