Sometimes, wearing vampy dark lipsticks will elicit raised eyebrow and remarks of "What's with that lipstick?" from those nearby, especially in the spring/summer time. Here are a few ways I managed to avoid those situations while doing my lipstick challenge. (But really, you should rock that color for those of us who can't.)

Having seen a few too many swatches of the YSL City Drive Classy Palette and especially the look from Sophia at The Make-up Blogette made me wish for the sexy neutral look that she created. But alas, we can't all have YSL. So instead, I decided to rummage around to find similar colors in my stash and this is what happened....

Clio Gelpresso Waterproof Pencil Gel Liner - Golden Black, Bloody Sweet, Bloody Angel

I'm always on the lookout for good eyeliners and when I heard that these were a stick version of gel liner I had to give them a haul. I love my MAC gel liners and the only thing that could make them better is if I didn't have to bother with a brush!

I've been lusting after the Blinc Mascara after a while. When I was working at my lab job, I would stare enviously at my supervisor's eyelashes wanting to know how in the world she got those amazing lashes. Turns out, it was with the Blinc Mascara.
