When the Lancome Rouge in Love* lipsticks came out, I stood in Shoppers long enough to get multiple "can I help you?" inquiries from SAs while I swatched all the colors. I then returned a few more times and swatched them again and again in an attempt to find the one.

Well October's CBB Brand of the Month is Wet N Wild! And I'm actually pretty excited about it. For a drugstore brand, Wet n Wild packs a punch at their price point and I have been a devoted fan of their single eyeshadow in Nutty for a very long time. Memeboxes (pronounced "me me", and not "meem") has been kicking around for a while. I was very excited that a subscription box dedicated itself to Korean products but I never actually bought one. In general, I don't think subscription boxes are where I want to spend my money but the pay-per-use feature of Memebox gives it more flexibility. I was sent Special Box #24 Brightening Skincare to review.

Chanel Intonation Dupe?

By the time I realized how awesome Chanel's Blush in Intonation was after borrowing it from Vanessa, it had already sold out. Nothing quite like the words "sold out" to make me try even harder to find the product or something similar. Vanity Rouge suggested that the Maybelline Master Glaze in Coral Sheen made for a great dupe and I had to compare for myself.

The Fall of the MLBB

Revlon Just-BItten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey. I've mentioned over and over again in comments, in blog posts, in conversation, how wearable this color is, how "everyday", how "MLBB". But...I'm wondering, is it too *whispers* bland ? and like doing your laundry and washing your dishes, too...everyday? Has it becomes the housewife of lipcolors?

Every Lip Product You'll Ever Need

This clever post idea came from Jaye.  I'm overflowing with lip colors so it was nice to force myself into condensing some 'must haves'. If I had to narrow things down, I'd probably be quite pleased with just these...(possibly :P). In general though, these categories make for a great way to focus on creating your perfect capsule lip collection.

Scrub, Scrub, Scrub

I've been getting back into regularly exfoliating (but didn't I already say this before?). As with other things I should do regularly, like...washing my dishes, shaving my legs, folding my clothes...exfoliating has taken a back seat to more pressing things like what to Netflix next and why I can't find matching socks. You know, solving world-poverty-type issues.

I've been wanting to try Kate eyeshadows for a long time. There's something more bad-ass about this Kanebo line that instantly drew me in. When I went on vacation last year, I made sure to pick up a palette from the Duty Free.

I need to confess that I don't pay attention to lipstick formulas. There are a few colors in my stash that have formulas I'm not in love with but since the color is nice, I put up with it. This makes me an awful source of references but I've been trying to pay more attention, you know...for the blog 'cause ladies, we have options. One option worth mentioning is the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting lipsticks.

After Herb gave my hair a rather dry send off, Blousey* shampoo and H'suan Wen Hua* treatment from LUSH seemed like good ways to nurture my locks back to health.  I've tried LUSH's solid shampoos (mostly out of curiosity), but I had yet to dip my hands into their potted versions. Since I'm all for hair promiscuity, I'm more than willing to experiment with shampoos in any format or size.

Though I have been giving away products to charity/friends, and Jen has been helping me edit, I'm all over the place and something had to change. I couldn't deal with this chaos.
