MAC Buried Treasure

Speaking of firsts, the very first item I purchased from MAC was the eyeliner in Buried Treasure. In high school, I had always cautiously stepped into MAC to furtively swatch the eyeshadows and paw at the blushes while pretending to look like I knew what was doing. It wasn't until I got up the courage to ask for some help (many years later) that I ended up with this little gem.

A lot of the cosmetics stores in Korea entice you to enter by handing out free masks. I was thus enticed into the Skin79 store by a lovely lady handing out these Red Ginseng Repairing Masks Sheets.

Stila Custom Color Blush - Sheer Pink

I believe this was the blush that started it all for me. When this came out so many years ago, it really intrigued me that one blush could be suitable for all people. 

New Commenting Function

Just a quick note that I've switched over from using Intensedebate to Disqus. Intensedebate was not entirely consistent and it was pretty annoying to see some comments disappear or  to not be able to use its full functionality. In switching over, I've also lost the majority of my comments from the past which I'm a bit bummed about. Hopefully Disqus proves to be much more stable.

Yet another 20x the points event at Shoppers Drug Mart and yet another purchase made. This time I ended up getting a Lancome gift set that had been around since Mothers Day I think. They still had about 2 left, so I picked one up.

Sometimes, I feel like I go completely overboard when it comes to makeup. Granted, I think I do pretty well compared to some other people but it's still a little unnerving to me that I'll buy something, forget I bought it, and never end up using it until months later.

I was looking around for a nice orange tint to my lips and I made the mistake of stopping by a Dior display. I'm pretty good about buying drugstore items and haven't really cashed out for big brand names but when I put Bal D'ete on my lips, it was an unfortunate and instantaneous love. 

Hello Care Intensive Cacao Collagen Treatment Mask

This is a weird one guys. It seems that almost every shop owner in Korea gives out face masks for free (ok not really...) and I got this one at an eyeglasses store of all places. I've never heard of this brand and a quick internet search didn't yield many results (though they do have a website) but let's see how this worked out.
