Thank you to Nikki at Fairest Favorites and Val at Making It Sparkle for tagging me for the Halloween Tag! Halloween isn't my favorite event but there are a lot of fun things that happen around this time. Plus, I also like the postive externality of having extra candy to eat when I don't hand all of it out.

Lookbook: NYFW Spring 2014 RTW
I use to follow fashion somewhat closely. I would look out people's Lookbook profiles, avidedly read fashion blogs, check up the latest runway shows. Nowadays, I find myself more captured by the world of beauty but that doesn't mean I won't pop by Vogue every now and then to see what's going on.
I especially like the fact that Vogue captures not only the clothes from the runway but the beauty looks as well. Here are some of my picks from the Spring 2014 Ready-to-Wear lines shown at New York Fashion Week. Enjoy!

PSA: Things to Think About Before Depotting
I hate clutter. So, when it comes to make-up, I try and depot as much of my powder products as I can. Having gone through more than a few depotting parties (really, just me and a lot of music while I work), let me share some wisdom on things you should consider.

Pimple Problems: Effaclar Duo and Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment
After speaking with my work colleague this week and one of my close friends, I realized that pimples are still a problem for us even though we are well over our teenage years! I can't believe that I still have to deal with breakouts and still have yet to figure out how best to tame my skin.

I've always heard that clay masks are good for purifying the skin so when I saw these at the duty free in Vietnam I decided to pick one up. At $0.50CDN each, you really can't go wrong! (Sort of sad I didn't pick up more.)
