Dior's 718 Taupe Design* ($63CDN) is a good taupe option for those who need a safer color choice and want to try out the new 5 Couleurs Designer range. Here are my general opinions of these palettes.

To recap:
This palettes contain 5 colors, a base, two satin shadows, a shimmery illuminator and a gel liner. they are supposed to be sheer and meant to be layered. Each palette is built around a harmony of one shade in various semi-tones for a color gradient look.
The shades here are your typical generic shades of taupe. It leans slightly cool, again, not quite in line with my preferences and this palette has performed on par with the rest of the sets. You get a sense of how glittery the highlighter shade is from the photo above. I do wish they had toned down the glitter a bit.
