Live Clean is a 'good for you' brand which doesn't use phthalates, silicone, sulfates or SLS. They focus on creating green products that work. This Coconut Milk line offers effective cleaning and exceptional hydration, promising to produce the softest silkiest hair imaginable. Coconut oils, Vitamin E, lauric and capric acid moisturize and protects. It is also enriched with Vitamin C and Provitamin B5, milk and rice proteins.
Strangley I get two different types of Coconut scents from the products. The Shampoo reminds me of coconut water or milk while the Conditioner reminds me of dried coconut flakes. Either way, the scent is gentle, doesn't linger and isn't overpowering. As far as the washing experience goes, the shampoo doesn't quite lather up as much as I'm used to. It isn't stripping and doesn't give that squeaky clean feel. The conditioner is creamy and leaves my hair soft but it also seems to weight it down a little.
Though I enjoy the scent of these two product, they may be a little too moisturizing for my hair needs. A touch more washing power and a slightly lighter Conditioner might have suited my hair a bit better. It has made my hair soft but not the softest results I've gotten but the softest I've gotten from a green shampoo so far.
