Following up from my post about Christmas ignorance and to give you another stocking stuffer option, here is the Sephora Endless Kisses Lip Pencil Set ($35CDN). I'm a fan of lip color more than lip glosses and so I was a bit more excited about this set when I got it in the mail.
The 8 glossy lip pencils cover everything from nudes, MLBBs, all the way to red and a dark-ish purple. If you like your Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains, you will like how these sit on your lips. Definitely glossy, all of these have shimmer that can sometimes read a bit frosty but potentially Xmas appropriate.
The color is quite opaque when built up, even the lighter shades. Coral and Fuchsia have the least amount of frostiness and Hot Pink sort of reminds me of Illamasqua's Underworld. Red here is interesting because of its Metallic finish. It makes me think of The Wizard of Oz and would be great for some creative looks.
In general, the cheapo in me thinks this will be a great option for breaking up and giving some interesting colors to some of your friends but since the finish is not my favorite, I don't really need 8 of these colors. For those of you curious about shimmer or metallic sort of finishes, this could be worth a few swatches in stores to help you decide. Again, love the formula but would swap out the colors.
Daily Zen: I loved when Stella McCartnery first collaborated with Adidas and now its Mary Katrantzou's chance. I love her amazing graphic prints and I really hope I can scope some of these in stores, especially those dresses!
