Good Soap by Alaffia

Good Soap by Alaffia vanilla coconut mint soap review

“This smells SO GOOD!” said every youtuber ever who described a scent without actually describing the scent. So, to avoid non-descriptive orgasmic proclamations, let me paint you a picture of why you need these soaps.

1) A variety of scents are available from roses, sunshine (basically clean laundry), mint, coconut, lavender, non-scented, and vanilla. I picked up mint which is fresh and zingy, vanilla which is warm and comforting and coconut which is smells exactly as labeled and nothing like awful sunscreen chemicals, (in other word deep and inviting but still summery).

2) They’re good for your soul. Alaffia values equality, empowerment and beauty. The brand makes a point to stand behind sustainable practices, social sustainability and moral responsibility. At 3 for $7 or ~$2.70 each at Whole Foods, the bars aren't a bad price since they are huge! They look about 1.5-2x the size of a regular bar of soap.

3) You don’t know creamy bath products until you’ve tried these. Be prepared to bathe yourself in this smooth slippery bar turned milk that washed off dirt.  The soap is made of goat’s milk, fair trade shea butter and coconut oil. CREAMY.

Please do yourself a favor and pick up one (or more) of these.

Have you ever tried soap so good you had to tell people?

Daily Zen: Mark Bittman just lumped a whole bunch of awesome looking Gazpacho recipes together and though I tend to like my soups warm...I'm going to try making a few of these.
