Beauty Profile

It's helpful to know what skin tone and preferences a blogger has so you can tell if a product that has worked for them will work for you too. Here are some general guidelines to understanding my preferences.

Skin Type/Make-up Considerations:
- I have combo-oily with clogged pores and prefer matte/semi-matte light-medium coverage foundations. In the winter my skin is more normal. In general, I prefer things that have good oil control.
- I don't typically go for heavy makeup looks and don't like anything that sits too heavily on the skin.
- I don't typically go for overly glittery blush or lipstick products. Neutral looks are preferred.

Foundations:
I haven't been properly matched but as far as I can tell I'm warmed toned somewhere in the range of MAC NC 20-25. I am generally a light-medium color with slight yellow undertones. These are the foundations I have tried with some notes on color matching.

Winter: (more NC20ish):
Holika Holika Petite BB cream in Moisture (a little more pale than I would like)
MAC Studio Careblend Light Plus
Skin79 Hot Pink BB cream (a little light but I can make it work)
Urban Decay Naked Foundation #4 (slightly too yellow)
Illamasqua Skin Base 6.5 (slightly ashy)
Sephora Spray-On Foundation Fawn (perfect match)
Estee Lauder Perfectionist Youth Infusing Makeup - 1W2 Sand (perfect match)
Clarin's Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base - Champaign (perfect match)

Summer: (more NC25)
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum 53
L'oreal Revitalift Duo Powder Foundation 110 Ivory
Illamasqua Skin Base 8.5

Things that have not worked
MAC Studiocareblend Medium Plus
(in the summer, this oxidized to an orange)

Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi-use Powder 118 (oxidized to be too dark. darker than NC30)
