(Unfortunately photos in this post were lost due to The Great Deletion of 2014. Some efforts to re-do photos will be made but not all posts will be redone.)
it seems fitting to me that my first post here should be a haul. shoppers drug mart was having a 20x the points event and i couldn't resist though i really probably should have. here are the lovely things i got my hands on.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation in 53 Light Beige
a lot of people on youtube, especially those located in the UK, have been talking about this so i had to give it a try. i feel like it might be a touch dark for me but mixing it with my BB cream should make it ok. i was hoping for 52 but they only had 53 in store. will see how this goes.
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 14
i was pretty interested to see what Rimmel came up with for their Kate collections and was happy to see a color on sale. thankfully it was a nudey-beige color with a slight pull towards pink which made purchasing this an easy decision. excited to test this out.
Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss and Pink Punch
i'm not expecting a lot of color pay off here so i might just be pleasantly surprised by how these turn out.
L'oreal Infallable Eyeshadow in 33 Tender Caramel
i love the texture of these shadows and since i will probably never buy the high end eyeshadows that these are supposedly dupes for (the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill eyeshadow) these are the perfect substitute. this is a great every-day single eyeshadow lid color.
Maybelline Color Whisper Lipstick in Rose of Attraction
every since i bought a few of these at Walmart, i've been wanting to get more. i had also grabbed the color in 'made-it-mauve' as well but reason (as much as reason could anyways) kicked in.
the last two items not individual pictured are a bottle of glycerin hand cream and Revlon's calcium gel nail hardener. both are means to fight off the drying toronto winter. my nails have been chipping at the slightest swipe against anything. interventions had to be made.
