Herbal Essences Naked 0% Shine Shampoo and Conditioner* review

Even while I was having my torrid love affair with Fekkai, I knew that all good things come to an end evenually. As the last adulterous hair washing approached, my roving eyes were ready to start exploring new hair possibilities with maybe some of the same perks that I've experienced before (such is the fickle hair lover that I am).
Herbal Essences Naked 0% Shine Collection* made soft overtures from the drugstore aisle, promising natural shine stripped of parabens, sillicons and dyes. Stripped, ladies. Since I seemed to have surrogated an actual love life (damn you, BF across the country) with that of hair rapture instead, the lure of 'naked' and orgasmic tv commercials made this a tantalizing option indeed.

But (isn't there always a but when it comes to these things?), Herbal Essences (can I call you Herb?) you and I were not meant to be and though you promised me raw shampooing and conditioning power from the strength of your own two bottles without add ons, you left my hair dry and somewhat coarse. My hair is parched, Herb, it is parched.

Herb, I think its time I moved on from this love affair. I'll continue to come around, maybe give you a toss in the shower now and then but let it be know that my eyes are roving. Though I embraced your natural state, there may be some things in life where a few 'enhancements' and 'add ons' are necessary to achieve that hair bliss I've been looking for.

What product gives you hair rapture?
