Most Exciting Beauty Items Coming to London Drug*

I briefly talked about London Drugs in my London Drugs event post but didn't focus on the most important thing which were the products. There were so many things to see but of them, these are the few that you should be most excited about.

Quickly on Two Fuller Coverage Foundations

I've been sitting on these two foundation post photos FOREVER. In an attempt to clear off my desktop space (these photos weren't even taken in the same year) here are some quick reviews for two fuller coverage foundations that I quite like. 

It's not often that I need full cover. Mostly I use them if the porcelined, perfected and smoothed look is what I'm going for. The Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 and the Revlon Color Stay Whipped suit that purpose but in both cases I still haven't found the best color match.

Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara

I admit that sometimes I'll throw money at a problem in the hopes that it will go away. Put enough money in and you're bound to find a solution. So for the longest time, I didn't believe that any drugstore mascara would give me my desired length and volume, and shelled out the $$$ for higher end options (which haven't always worked either). 

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms

Hello Pearl Finishes! Ft Revlon Super Lustrous Pearl Finish Lippies

I usually gravitate towards the satin/cream finish for lipsticks and sometimes dabble with matte.  A lack of pearl finishes was rectified when there was a $5/ Revlon lipstick sale on at Rexall.

Maybelline Color Whispers vs. Revlon Lip Butter

after hearing about how the Maybelline Color Whispers were Maybelline's response to the much loved Revlon Lip Butters, i made my way around town trying to find them. by the time this is posted, they'll be available at Shopper's Drug Mart but i seriously had the hardest time located them a couple of weeks ago. thankfully the local Walmart was carrying them well in advance of Shoppers. though by the time i got to them, there were barely any left.
