Its been hard to keep up with Make Up For Ever! They've been rapidly firing out products! I'm already behind but I love this brand so I wanted to share my thoughts on the latest.

A Reason to Try Sephora's Lip Products (ft. Sephora's Rouge Cream Lipsticks*)

We don't pay attention to Sephora enough. I mean...we do..but we also don't. I'm pretty sure we go to Sephora and look at almost everything else aside from what the in-house items are. That is such a shame. I've been going through the brand's collection and there are SO many great things. I am very much in love with their mist foundation, liners and shadows. Lately, I've been trying out the Rouge Cream* ($15CDN, 4g) lipsticks.

Misty autumn days in the woods aren't too common in downtown Vancouver. Rainy drenched autumn days are more likely but no matter because the Art Deco Mystical Forest collection is perfectly suited for those as well.

Clarins' Breakout Star for Fall*

Clarins is launching some new items this Fall and from the bunch I received there were a few standout items which ought to be tried, especially the Joli Rouge lipsticks.

A couple of weeks ago I was formally introduced to Paul & Joe Beaute. Already aware of this line since its been pretty popular in Asia I was happy to learn that it has recently entered into North American markets via Shoppers Drugs Marts. The rep described all the brains behind each beauty product. Not only adorable, pacakged, from his descriptions ,the formulas are no slouches either. I've already tried and loved one of their boxed blushes and I can't wait to try more.

I've already introduced the Annabelle Stay Sharp products but these are really worth another mention. For whatever reason, the Annabelle Stay Sharp liners have worked their way into my daily routine. I've been using the black and brown liner everyday and the lip liners have near converted me to being a lip liner girl. I half suspect the same laziness that keeps me from collecting my laundry from the dryer and from washing my brushes is contributing to my enthusiasm.

Emily Noel loves her Mally's Automatic Eyeliner because of how they are always self sharpen. WAIT, how do they always stay sharp? She never explains and I am constantly left like Alicia Silverstone in a 90's yellow plaid kilt. I honestly thought she was deceiving me but  I HAVE SOLVED THE RIDDLE thanks to Annabelle.

Should I Keep My Lipliners?

 A surprising degree of strength is necessary to purge items from my makeup stockpile. Strength I have yet to possess, so Jenn (vibrant beauty) held my hand as we swiftly dispensed of 9 lip glosses. We haven't started in on the lipsticks yet but I'm hoping for similarly satisfactory results. The high of buying new things is only comparable to the high of releasing all those same items back into the wild.
