Maybelline Color Whispers Swatches and Review

oh Maybelline, you've really done it with the Color Whispers. if it weren't for my somewhat sizable lipstick stash and a slight aversion to bright colors i would have purchased each and every one of you!

i bought the colors in Mocha Muse, Lust for Blush, Pin Up Peach and Rose of Attraction.

Mocha Muse is a great everyday neutral. it looks a little orangey brown in the swatch but it's actually just a slightly brown nude. very "my lips but better". this color is so easy to wear and would go great when you can't decide on anything. i find i'm reaching for this one quite often.

Lust for Blush is a neutral light pink. it's slightly more cool toned.

Pin Up Peach is pink/peach. i feel like this will make a great summer color and it's just a fun color to wear.

Rose of Attraction is rosy pink with slight silver glitter. the glitter is really fine and gives a rather nice shimmer affect on the lips without being too obvious. i wouldn't really classify the silver as glitter. they are so small that it's very inconspicuous.

the feeling of these are great! they feel like a lip balm on the lips and worked well over some of my dry bits. through the day, they do not dry my lips out at all. for someone who just wants to pop something on without much fuss these are the perfect everyday sort of lipsticks. they are not extremely opaque like cream formula lipsticks but offer a nice coat of uniform color that is obvious but not glaring.

if you haven't already, i would go out and pick some up! these are just great and easy to wear everyday. with 20 different options, there's definitely a shade that will catch your eye.
