(For anyone who's still out there (Is anyone still out there? Hello. (It's me...)), thank you for waiting more than two years for an update, but my dear you shouldn't be waiting that long for anyone.)
I can only bank so much on my Asian skin genes and not calling for reinforcements is an underestimation of the powers of cumulative UV rays and our propensity to keep breaking down that good ol' ozone layer (but that's another post which we aren't here for). Which all just means, I wear my sunscreen and most often I have it combined within my moisturizer, powder, or foundation to make life less cluttered.

My Current Skin Routine
It takes forever to finish bottles of skincare so an update every...11 months (my last one was in Feb) feels ok to me. I haven't switched tactics, still going strong on anti-pigmentation and hydration but there's a renewed focus on eye care. As my colleague once told me, once 30 hits, I better be slathering on all the anti-aging potions. Best to start now, I figure.

An Empty Worth Talking About (ft. Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution*)
This is an empty worth talking about. The Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution* ($59CDN, 30ml) has done a bang up job of lighting some of my moles and dark spots. I didn't actually believe it would work (I basically bumble around with brightening products and hope for the best.)

A Brand and A Cult Product: Kiehl’s and their Midnight Recovery Concentrate
Since we are all more than
our blogs, Quinn from Desgettier and I decided to use our collective interests to investigate
the hype around Kiehl's and one of their iconic products.
Being not too unfamiliar
with the odd science journal, I put my research skills to work in analyzing the
ingredients from the Midnight Recovery Concentrate.
Quinn loves marketing psychology, so she chose to
investigate how Kiehl’s creates hype around their brand and their products. Check out her awesome post here.
