The Last Minute Purchase

I really am hopeless; best intentions aren't enough to hold me back. It happened. Even when I said I would buy less, and especially buy less makeup, I made a beauty purchase.

The re-promotion of my favorite face wash drew me into Sephora but what really cinched the purchase was seeing a little red box of BITE finally restocked. My hands shot out faster than my mind could caution and my feet took me swiftly to the check out.

The (Big) Vacation Haul from Asia

I went to Taiwan and Hong Kong (and finally met this awesome lady). This meant I happily paid (multi-)dollar bills to anyone that had anything to sell. Vacationing in a foreign country and accessing hard to find products is easily an excuse I used when handing over my money. Here are my conquests!

Deliveries and Purchases

Hey dude,
Haven't done a video in a while...so here's my first one back!
Just a short thing on what I've gotten in the mail and what I've purchased recently. I enjoy reading/seeing these posts from other bloggers so I thought I'd try my hand on one as well.

Tell me what you think! Any purchases/deliveries lately?

Asia Haul

In this video:
- I tell you more than one funny story about my mom.
- My mom buys me an inappropriate object.
- I talk about all the new things I got from Asia without actually going there.

In the Moment #17: IMATS Toronto 2014 and Haul

Alright, Its annual IMATS time. See my "Game Plan" post here for tips and general hilarity.

This last weekend was IMATS. Click on the above link for explanations etc. This year, I though I would take it easy. There wasn't much I wanted and I thought I would cruise in around 10am with my press pass and just skip the whole MUFE, MAC madness. I was wrong.

Trader Joe's Haul!

I bought things at Trader Joe's and it was glorious!!!

In this video I:
- talk about food items a lot
- try and distract you from the massive pimple on my chin with said food items
- make you wish you had a Trader Joe's

Yet Another Haul

(Unfortunately photos in this post were lost due to The Great Deletion of 2014. Some efforts to re-do photos will be made but not all posts will be redone.)

Again...so much for "less is more".

I couldn't help myself. After hearing that not only the Maybelline Elixirs but also the L'Oreal Extraordinaire glosses were on sale at Shoppers a few weeks ago, my resolve broke down. I had to pick up some more of the Maybelline glosses and try out the L'Oreal versions as well! In addition, a mid-work day walk through Winners resulted in some new skincare purchases as well.

Pre-Xmas Haul

(Unfortunately photos in this post were lost due to The Great Deletion of 2014. Some efforts to re-do photos will be made but not all posts will be redone.)

This is way past due but here is a haul of the stuff I bought just before Xmas. Mostly it was due to Black Friday sales. Damn you Black Friday Sales...!

The Problem with Candles: Candle Warmers and a Little Haul

(Unfortunately photos in this post were lost due to The Great Deletion of 2014. Some efforts to re-do photos will be made but not all posts will be redone.)

I've recently discovered the joy of burning candles. But that joy comes with a bit of a problem. What do you do with the wax at the bottom once the wick has burned out?

Collective Haul: David's Tea, Sephora VIB and IMATS Toronto 2013

One of the things you might want to know about me, is that it takes me a LONG time to decide on what to buy. (This is very very evident in the video.) But it seems...I didn't have that much of an issue purchasing things this past weekend. (I'm also a serial returner. So don't be surprised if I end up returning a few of these things). Watch in HD!

Major Collective Haul - All the Things!

(Unfortunately photos in this post were lost due to The Great Deletion of 2014. Some efforts to re-do photos will be made but not all posts will be redone.)

I have to admit that I've been pretty bad these last couple of weeks. Whenever I do something I regret or feel like I've gone overboard on, I usually 'confess' it to my boyfriend. Thankfully I can transfer some of my guilt and confessing onto you guys! I guess you guys can all enjoy shopping vicariously through me. Let's get on with my hauling confession.

Missha Haul and GIVEAWAY (Ends July 6th, 2013)

(Unfortunately photos in this post were lost due to The Great Deletion of 2014. Some efforts to re-do photos will be made but not all posts will be redone.)

So I showcased some of the sheet masks that I bought at Missha in the last post. Anytime I talked to a friend in Korea about beauty products the first brand they mention is Missha. I poked into a store a number of times to figure out exactly what I wanted and ended up with two major things aside from the masks. I got the Time Revolution Best Sellers Special Gift boxed set and the All Around Safe Block Essence Sun SPF 45 that +Musings of a Muse spoke so highly about. I've also decided to do a GIVEAWAY. Rules are at the end of the post.

Trip Haul!: Korea (Seoul)

(Unfortunately photos in this post were lost due to The Great Deletion of 2014. Some efforts to re-do photos will be made but not all posts will be redone.)

I had a really fabulous time in Seoul. Having a personal guide and friends to go explore with makes a traveling experience so much more memorable. One of the top things I did in Seoul was go shopping. Even my boyfriend was encouraging since everything was inexpensive and I needed a new work appropriate wardrobe. He did start to get tired from going into all the bizillion cosmetic stores though but I had so much fun picking around everything item. The below photos is a mere sample, click the jump to see the extent of my purchasing sinnage (le sigh).

Trip Haul!: China, Vietnam and Thailand

(Unfortunately photos in this post were lost due to The Great Deletion of 2014. Some efforts to re-do photos will be made but not all posts will be redone.)

Hello there! Today I'll be sharing the beauty items I picked up from the first three countries on my trip (China, Vietnam and Thailand). Korea deserves a whole post for itself due to the embarrassing amount of products I purchased. If any of this seems excess that's because it most likely is but I'm more than a bit excited to start using and experimenting with my new buys. :)

NYC Haul: Inglots and Drugstore (Rimmel, Maybelline, Wet n Wild)

(Unfortunately photos in this post were lost due to The Great Deletion of 2014. Some efforts to re-do photos will be made but not all posts will be redone.)

Just a note that forthcoming posts will probably not follow a set schedule. 16 deliverables in 5 weeks means something's got to give :(

Recently I took a short trip to NYC with some girlfriends and came back with a few goodies :) I have to say that hitting up drugstores in the States is particularly great and at least, from this one experience, Rite Aid seems to be the best if you happen to go during a buy 1 get 1 50%off sale.
