I'm loving the shape of the new Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips* lipsticks. She cuts her lipstick bullets in such interesting ways and that flat angled top is really working out for me. More than that, the newest launch from the brand is helping raise awareness for the Women for Women Charity!

If you aren't celebrating, or if you are, I hope you're having a great start to your February. Any holiday occasion is wonderful and CNY is made even better with all the Chinese food and desserts. This year, I wanted to create a sophisticated look to go with all the red and gold decorations and there isn't anything better than pairing that idea with luxurious brand, Charlotte Tilbury, to really ring in the occasion.

Yet again fervour arose over a major celebrity in the beauty world and I am less than in the know. Apparently Charlotte Tilbury is the #1 Makeup Artist in the World, something we were often reminded of at her appearance and launch of her eponymous makeup line at Holts on Bloor. For the occasion, the store was bedazzled in showlights and British Flags and I ran into more than a handful of the local beauty community while I was there.
