LUSH: Salt and Peppermint Bark Shower Scrub*

*Press Sample

Pumpkin Spiced Lattes (and everything else) have reached near "Rite of Passage" status during the Fall and Winter months but personally, I've always enjoyed Peppermint Mochas much more. I also enjoy Peppermint patties, peppermint tea, and peppermint chocolate so I was bound to enjoy the scent of LUSH's Salt and Peppermint Bark Shower Scrub* ($9.95CDN).

This salt based scrub is supposed to give soft scrubbed skin while the fair trade organic cocoa and cupuaƧu butter softens your skin. I would categorizes this as a rough, near 'ouch' scrub (if you are too vigourous). Sea salt particles are larger so a more scrubby experience isn't too surprising. Thank goodness for the butters and oils in this formula. They instantly protect what you've just exposed with your scrub and my skin was left with a light moisturizing layer of oil.

Of course I enjoy the scent. Yes I want to smell like a dark chocolate mint when I come out of the shower and the fragrance lingers lightly for a while. If this were edible, it would make the perfect in shower snack and I am recommending this on the scent alone but would caution the user that this isn't a 'daily or gentle scrub' type product.
