After consolidating everything, I saw the benefits of having all you need, on hand, in one place. I've never bought a full face palette before so the Aerin Weekday Palette* further affirmed how awesome it is to simplify.

The Aerin 2014 Weekday Palette ($78CDN) contains 2 Eyeshadows in Simplicity and Cocoa, 1 Blush in Petal and 1 Highlighter in Beam, Multi Color for Lips & Cheeks in Natural, and 2 Rose Balm Lipsticks in Geranium and Liebling. There is a lip brush and a dual ended sponge applicator for shadows. The compact comes in a soft pink drawstring bag.

The look I got from this palette was a pretty one, but not the kind I usually wear. It is office appropriate and softly feminine. I like the blush color but I wouldn't have paired those taupe eyeshadows with that blush shade. But then again, using shadow, and blush and lipstick always makes me feel overdone. The formulas of the lipsticks were smooth and not drying. The shadows performed well and the blush was very pigmented.

The multitude of formulas in this palette produces a variety of looks. The inclusion of a highlighter and the shade Natural, which can be used on the cheeks and lips, makes this palette truly multifunctional. But the plastic case, even though a nice gold shade, seemed cheap for the $78 price tag and some of the full face color options don't really suit my preferences. If the color combinations suit you, this might be a palette worth considering if you wanted to splurge. I do love that there is so much versatility in this palette and that everything is in one place. I'm thinking this makes a good travel option though...since I don't often do full faces when I travel anyways.
