On Dior Lip Addicts

I own a Dior Lip Addict in Millie (a shimmery berry shade) and in general quite like these. Dior Lip Addicts contains 25% less wax than most traditional formulas and are supposed to gives a modern sheer look with mirror shine. This summer's Tie Die* ($34CDN) version has a contract color running through the tube in a CD shape.

The sole factor for purchasing Millie was the product design.  Dior's lip products that use the Addict perfume inspired packaging have instant draw for me. The tubes are so sleek, sleek like secret agents and ninja assassins. The bullets are slender and the product perfectly hugs my lips. The chrome reflects on the cap make it modern and trendy.

Dior Lip Addict lipsticks ($34CDN) are supposed to provide pure colour and a glossy shine. The Tie Dye edition includes Nude Fever, Red Bliss, Coral Trip and Fuchsia Utopia. All very wearable shades and the light feel on the lips is a good compliment to summer.

The coverage is sheer but noticeable and there is some shine factor. "Mirror" shine descriptions seem more suited for describing lip glosses; these don't have the same reflective quality that glosses do but there's a decent level of shininess.

Wear time on these are good. I do need to reapply more often than a creamy staining formula and usually after meals. I enjoy how they feel on my lips, light and slippy (but not silicony) though lighter colors will catch on dry patches. Honestly, if you can resist buying these for their design, then good for you! But if you do, you'll have a lovely new lightweight sheer lipstick to call your own.
