There have been many times when my opinion of a product has changed. One example is my opinion on the original Baby Lips. In my intial review, I wasn't blown away and in general I still don't think they're that moisturizing, but over time, I saw the benefit of having a tinted lip balm that had SPF in it. Maybelline just came out with the Baby Lips Moisturizing Gloss* ($6CDN, 5.5ml) and I've changed my mind a few times with these while I was playing around with them.

The Baby Lip Glosses are supposed to be completely non-sticky, to give a sheer tint of color, and are enriched with caring oils and Vitamin E. These smooth, moisturize and soften the lips for 4 hours and come in three glossy finishes. I tested out some colors in their cream and jelly finish.

If you're looking for a tint and color, you really are not going to find that here and this made me, intially, not a complete fan, When they say sheer, they really meant it and most of the shades I got ended up looking the same on my lips. The creams give off a milkines which the jellies do not but I wouldn't be too picky about which color you end up choosing.

These definitely moisturized my lips. They really were non sticky and they reminded me of the Clarins Lip Comfort Oil but in a much less vicious consistency. They have a great fruit scent and hydrated my lips for a decent amount of time.

I would honestly classify these in a lip care category rather than as a color cosmetic. Their main benefit is their hydrating nature and non-stickiness, not the color tint. If you are solely looking for something to take care of your lips, these are pretty good but I wish the price wasn't so high since it doesn't look like you get that much product. If you are looking for a color cosmetic that's hydrating you may want to consider other glosses with more pigmentation.

Will you be checking these glosses out?
