Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but the current rash of warmer weather has me thinking of summer. "Optimal Jenn Temperature" ranges around 11-18C so to me and with daylight still present well past 6pm, I'm thinking of beach sunsets and brighter colors. The Dior's Tie Dye line offers just that, promising sunset shades that add light to the skin.

Wearing turquoise liner can be daring but I got confirmation from my friend that this shade is perfect as upper liner. Its dark enough to almost seem natural. I paired it with the amber bronzed and sand shades of Amber Nuit ($62CDN) which made both the iridescent shades in the palette and the blue in the Khol Stick* ($32CDN) shine through individually.
Since the shadows had a slight pink lean, I wanted to contrast the cheeks against the liner instead of using more pink. The Nude Tan Blush Harmony shade in Coral Sunset* ($57CDN) was the perfect compliment. The blush has amazing lasting powder and wore for 6 hours before I had to wash my makeup off. The packaged kabuki brush did a great job blending the shades in the pan and onto my face. This looks turned out quite summery, light and the blush was definitely complexion enhancing.
Oranges, bronzes and teals, a great summer combination for a tie dye set look.
How would you get a sunset look?
