This is a quick little post on two more Amie products. I've already reviewed some Amie products here. The Morning Clear Purifying Facial Wash* and the New Bloom Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes* are rounding out my skincare experience with Amie.
The Morning Clean Purifying Facial Wash* ($10CDN, 15ml) is supposed to remove all dirt, oil and makeup. Like the rest of Amie's products, its a bit over scented. If you like facial milks, this would be for you. It smoothes on lilke a lotion and washes off like a lotion. In other words, it leaves a residue which some can see as being moisturizing but I find unsatisfactory and as if I had washed my face. This type of facial wash isn't a favorite of mine, regardless of the brand. I also would not recommend this as a makeup remover since it doesn't remove makeup well. If I had to use it, I'd stick to morning uses only.
The New Bloom Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes* ($6.50CDN, 25 wipes) again promised to remove makeup, dirt and oil. It does a good job removing makeup and it removed my waterproof mascara and eyeliner with ease. There was some light foundation residue left over but nothing a few more wipes with the cloth wouldn't have fixed. In general this is a great price for a set of 25 wipes and I can't imagine how even more economical it will be when it's on sale at Shoppers. Not a bad option actually and I would consider buy it when I'm in need of wipes again.

So far, of all the things I've tried, the wipes are my favorite. My dislike for the Morning Clean Purifying Facial Wash and the reminder of how scented Amie products are overall, lowers my initial A- rating to a B+.
