Clarins' new spring 2014 Opalescence collection may be the perfect thing for kickstarting spring. A quick look through their campaign booklet reveals that luminous skin and an almost Bambi-esque fresh make up look is their trend for the season. I'm down with that!

The multi-blush ($30CDN) line presents pinks and coral for fresh glowing cheeks. These sheer cream to powder blushes can be used on the face and lips. Hello! I love the Stila Covertible Colors for their duo functionality and this Clarins variation piqued my curiosity.

Candy is a pink leaning coral with slight shimmer. This is my first cream to powder product and I'm enjoying the finish. The shimmer in the color gives the color dimension even though the finish is matte. Created for sheer application, a few repeated swipes of the pan will also produce buildable color. Fingers worked best with this, I found my brush blended out the color too much.

For my first cream to powder experience this was a good introduction. I don't go for the dewy look so the finish suited my preferences. I even tested it on my lips and it worked surprisingly well there. The color showed up much better and didn't dry out my lips. Though the sheerness was not really for me, I know someone like my mom would love this product since she's afraid of the "clown face" from too much blush. If you do want to go bold, it is possible. A few more swipes in the pan and it'll get you there. It does fade a bit through the day but the tiny compact makes reapplication easy enough.

Are you picking up any of the Clarins multi-cream bushes?

Daily Zen:  I made business cards!! I used Moo Cards and they look GREAT (if I do say so myself). I can't get over how thick the paper is. Now, at least I'm more prepared when people ask me for my card.
