As you can see, the packaging comes in a little squeeze tube. I've had mine in #8 beige for about two years now and (though it's technically expired...oops) it's still going strong! This is marketed as a super long lasting, matte, oil free, and waterproof, full coverage concealer. According to the product description, it is "designed to cover major imperfections like scars, hyperpigmentation, major discoloration, burns, and tattoos. This light and creamy concealer contains a high concentration of pigments that stay put, making it perfect for use on the face, as well as the body."
It's obvious that #8 is a bit too dark for me but ..funny story...I ended up with this color because there were some rather embarrassing marks on my neck that I needed cover up for work and there wasn't a lighter color available. So yes, it does work on the body. I have to say, the color choice didn't really work but it was better than making the boy I was dating look like he attacked me. It does give very good coverage and has never creased nor faded on me. It isn't 'full' cover though but its really close. If you tend to layer a lot of product on, it may look cakey so be careful. You really don't need much of it though. As far as I can tell it's waterproof as far as rain, sweat and tears go but I have never swam with it.
This product goes on very smoothly. It's creamy without being thick and doesn't feel heavy on. I apply this with either my fingertips, by taking a little from the tube and dabbing it on the areas I need covered up. Or sometimes I'll use a concealer brush and dab it on. I find dabbing it rather than smoothing it across the area provides better coverage.
I would recommend this product but if you really need full full coverage for tattoos you may need to look elsewhere. Otherwise, for basic skin scars and pimples this is really great and will last you a long time. At $36CDN you may want to find something cheaper but the quality is obvious and amortized over all the years this will last you (assuming you don't have to cover too much everyday) its worth it to me.
What's your go-to concealer?
